Bryce and Chris Cook of Coldwell Banker in downtown San Carlos are offering to sell the winning bidder’s home for a list commission of only $1. That’s right, $1. Any home on the Peninsula between Burlingame and Mountain View will qualify and there is no limit to the price of your home.

The value of this Auction Item is enormous. Most commissions to the listing brokerage are 2.5% to 3% of home value.

If your home value is $1.5 million, this auction item is worth $37,500 to $45,000.

If your house is worth $2 million, Chris & Bryce's offer is worth $50,000 to $60,000.

Submit your bid via email to chris@cookhomes.net. All bids are confidential. Bids will be listed anonymously on our website in order of receipt. Bidding will start at $15,000. We will accept bids by email from Wednesday, February 22 to Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 12 noon. Additional bids can be made at the Bagpiper Bash on the evening of the 26th. Or, you can Buy it Now for $20,000.

  • Want to make sure you win? You may submit a Buy It Now bid of $20,000 and Cook Homes will sell your house. Remember, on an average sale, this would be a $30,000 savings to you, and possibly much much more.

  • Don’t have the cash now? Payment for the winning bid may be made via escrow upon the sale of your home. (You will be required to sign a contract agreeing to this.)

  • Winning bidder may transfer this right to another person before Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement is signed, but no later than two years from the date of the event.
